Pearse Duffy

The death has occurred of Pearse Duffy, Knockreagh, Culloville P.O., Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, peacefully, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, Saturday 14th March 2020. Predeceased by parents John and Bridget Duffy and his brother Sean. Devoted husband to Mary, and beloved father of Cora, Adrian, Pauline. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, son, daughters, son-in-law Barry, Adrian’s partner Jackie, sisters Maureen (Burns), Vera (Chambers), Nuala, Patsie (Grier), brothers Eamonn and Vincent, grandchildren Barry Óg, Sean, Shane, Carla, Cían, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence (A75 X022) on Sunday afternoon from 5pm to 7pm, and on Monday from 12 noon to 9pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Broomfield, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon for family, friends and neighbours. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to the Oncology Unit, c/o any family member or Deery’s Funeral Directors, Carrickmacross.
