Peggy Smith
(née Flynn)

On Tuesday, 14 November, Peggy died peacefully, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her much-loved family. Dearly beloved wife of the late Frank and much-loved mother of Philip, Mary, Margaret, Gerard and John.

Deeply mourned by her sons and daughters, sisters Rita, Kathleen and Moira, grandchildren Darren, Kate, Emma, Claire, David, Laura, Paul, Paddy, Cian and Evan and by her great-grandchildren Harry, Tom and Lucy. Sadly missed also by her sons-in-law Tom and Padraig, daughters-in-law Geraldine and Finnola, the extended Flynn and Smith family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at O' Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) on Friday, 17 November, 2023, from 4.30 p.m. with Removal at 6.00 p.m. to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road, to arrive at 7 p.m. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Peggy on Saturday, 18 November, at 11 a.m. and following Mass she will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery. No flowers, please, memorial donations, if preferred, to the Galway Hospice.
