Peter Gilbourne

Peacefully after a long illness bravely borne while in the excellent care of the doctors, nurses and staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Beloved husband of Helen, cherished dad of Elaine, Shannon, Peter, Barry, and Brian. Treasured grandad of Cathal, Rory, Diarmuid, Daragh, Ella, Cormac, Óran, Aoife, Fíana, Ronan, Cian, Cillian, Liam, Finn, Clodagh, Óisin, and Fionn. Sadly missed by his daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, extended family, and wide circle of friends. Peter was predeceased by his brother Bob and his sisters Kathleen and Theresa.

Peter will repose at Fanagans Funeral Home, Willbrook, Rathfarnham on Sunday, 1st September, from 3 pm to 5 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 am on Monday, 2nd September, in the Church at Terenure College followed by burial at Kilmashogue Cemetery.
