Philip McCafferty

The death has occurred of Philip McCafferty, Leabrannagh, Arranmore, Co. Donegal. Peacefully at the home of his daughter, Bridie (Kelly), Kellystown, Knocknahur, Sligo, in the presence of his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Teresa; daughters Mary and Margaret; son, Neil and infant great grandson, Senán. Dearly loved and sadly missed by his daughters Anne, Bridie and Sheila and sons Connie, Michael, Philip and John; grandchildren Therese, Karen, Christine, Christopher, Amanda, Mark, Feidhlim, Aine, Erin, Eve, Aaron, Brendan, Maeve, Enya, Finn, Tom and Alice; great grandchildren Emma, Christopher, Muireann, Cara and Maeve, sons-in-law Tommy and Hugh Gerard; daughters-in-law, Maureen, Martina and Melanie; neighbours and friends.

May Phillie Rest in Peace

Phillie will repose at the home of his daughter Bridie (Kelly) in Kellystown, Knocknahur, Sligo (F91 NF20) on Thursday 12th September from 5:00pm to
7:00pm. House private outside of this time please. Phillie’s remains will repose in McGlynn’s Funeral Home, Dungloe on Friday, 13th September, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm before travelling to the family home to Leabrannagh on the 5:30pm ferry that day.

Phillie’s remains will repose in the family home until 11:00pm on Friday, and from 12 noon to 11:00pm on Saturday. Rosary in Phillie’s home on Friday and Saturday night at 9:00pm. House private outside of this time please. Removal on Sunday morning for 12:30pm. Funeral Mass in St. Crone’s Church, Arranmore with interment afterwards in the local cemetery.
