Who passed peacefully on Monday, June 21st 2021, in the wonderful care of

St Patrick’s ward U.H.G.

Philip will be sadly missed by his loving wife Marie, sons Philip and Ian, Grandchildren Michelle, Anna, and Jack, daughters-in-law Gemma and Linda, overseas cousins in Canada, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours, and his many friends.

Philip’s funeral cortege will arrive to St Brendan’s Cathedral Loughrea on Friday, June 25th, for Requiem Mass at 12.30 o’clock followed by burial in Mount-pleasant, Cemetery.

The above arrangements will take place in accordance with current Government and HSE guidelines on public gatherings.

Philip’s friends wishing to support the Thompson family at this sad time may do so and please adhere to Government Guidelines on social distancing if standing along the route of the funeral cortege from Kilboy’s funeral home to St Brendan’s Cathedral and to Mount-Pleasant Cemetery.
