The death has occurred of
Philomena (Phyllis) Johnston
(née Verlin)
Johnston (née Verlin) Philomena (Phyllis) (Raheny) – June 18, 2021, peacefully at Tara Winthrop Nursing Home, beloved wife of the late Thomas (Tommy) and much loved mother of Raymond, Carol, Audrey and John; lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her sons and daughters, daughter-in-law Cathy, sons-in-law, grandchildren Stephen, Robert, Jeff and Sarah-Jane, brother-in-law Christy, sisters-in-law Nora and Kathleen, nephews, nieces, extended family, kind neighbours and friends.
A private family funeral will take place due to Government advice regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral but cannot due to current restrictions are welcome to leave a personal message on the Condolences section below, by post to Kirwan Funeral Directors, 21/23, Fairview Strand, Dublin 3 or by email to info@kirwans.ie.
The Johnston family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to all the staff at Tara Winthrop Nursing Home for the outstanding care given to Phyllis over the past decade.
