The death has occurred of Phyllis Corroon (née Rooney) – late of Harbour Street, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly of Kilmainhamwood, Co Meath – June 29, 2024 (peacefully) in her 95th year in the company of her loving and devoted family and in the tender and excellent care of the staff at Newbrook Lodge Nursing Home.

Beloved wife of the late John.
A dearly loved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; Phyllis will be very sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her family John, Denis, Margaret, Kathleen, Thomas, Teresa, Joan and Pearse, daughters-in-law Tanja, Kathleen, Paula and Maeve, sons-in-law Gerry, Peter and Tony, her adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Peter, sisters-in-law Molly, Anne and Teresa, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home on Sunday from 3.30 pm with Removal to the Cathedral of Christ the King arriving at 6.30 pm.
Funeral Mass on Monday at 11 am followed by burial in Ballyglass Cemetery.
