Phyllis Grimes
(née Melody)

Phyllis Grimes, (nee Melody), Charlestown Road, Tubbercurry, and formerly of Bofield, Bonniconlon, peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family in Galway Hospice. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Margaret and brother Willie. Beloved wife of James and adored mother of Rachel, Mervyn and Ornaith. Phyllis will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Rían, Éabha, Caoimhe, Lauren, Matthew and Saorla and sadly missed by her loving family, daughter-in-law Karen, sons-in-law Michael and Davitt, sisters Margaret and Geraldine, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Phyliss's funeral cortege will arrive at St John Evangalist Church, Tubbercurry, on this Saturday at 8.30pm. Requiem Mass will be on Sunday 1.30pm with the funeral afterwards to Annaduff Cemetery. Due to government and HSE guidelines the number permitted at a funeral is 50% of church capacity.
