Rev. James (Jimmy) Heneghan C.S.Sp.

Rev. Jimmy Heneghan C.S.Sp. (Kimmage Manor and late of Rathlena, Granlahan, Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon). Died on Saturday 16th November 2024. Missionary in Ireland and Brazil. Son of the late Bridget (née Mullarkey) and Jim Heneghan. Predeceased by his brother Jack, sisters Eileen and Margaret (Peggy) and brother-in-law Tom Conneally (Glenamaddy). Deeply regretted by his two sisters Mary Conneally (Glenamaddy) and Bridie / Sr Attracta PBVM (Presentation Convent, Tuam), sister-in-law Anne (Rathlena), nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, extended family, friends, Brazilian migrant communities in the West of Ireland and fellow Spiritans.

Reposing on Tuesday (Nov 19th) from 3pm to 5pm at Kimmage Manor, Terenure, Dublin 12 (D12 WP44). Removal on Wednesday (Nov 20th) to St Patrick’s Church, Granlahan (F45 C598) to repose between 5.30pm and 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will take place in St. Patrick’s Church, Granlahan at 12 noon on Thursday followed by burial in Kildaree Cemetery; For those who wish to attend but cannot, the Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on Thursday at midday via the PJ Keane Funeral Directors Facebook page and can be viewed live by clicking the Webstream link below.
