The death has occurred of
Rita Joyce
(née Maguire)
Formerly of Murrough Drive, Renmore, Galway and Tully, Roslea, Co. Fermanagh
On Sunday, 2 June 2024 Rita died very peacefully following an illness so bravely bourne with the caring support of her husband Paddy, daughter Shauna, sons Noel and Andrew and family by her side at the Mystical Rose Nursing Home, Claregalway.
Pre-deceased by her parents Frank and Ellen and her siblings Mary, Eileen, Maeve, Jimmy, Frankie and Sean.
She will be deeply missed by Paddy, Noel, Andrew and Shauna together with her daughters-in-law Jackie and Lisa, son-in-law Mike, grandchildren James, Katie, Jessica, Alex, Anna, Juliette and Ellen, sister Dympna, brothers Kevin and Dermot, and by the extended Joyce and Maguire family, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at home (H91 VY79) on Tuesday, 4 June from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Removal on Wednesday, 5 June from her home to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill to arrive in advance of Requiem Mass therein at 11 a.m. Following Mass Rita will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.
