On January 7th 2024, Rita passed away in her 99th year, peacefully, in the loving care in Milford Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her husband Joseph and son Patrick.

Very deeply regretted by her sons Gerard and Donal, daughter Catherine, brother Dan Gallagher, her three daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, neighbours and friends.

The family wish to acknowledge the Milford Nursing staff, for their Care and kindness to Rita.

May She Rest in Peace.

Reposing at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, on Monday, January 8th, from 3pm to 5pm.

Funeral will arrive on Tuesday, January 9th, at St. John's Cathedral, Cathedral Place, for 11am Requiem Mass followed by Cremation Service in Shannon Crematorium on Tuesday, at 1pm.
