Robert Emmet (Rob) Neary

Carnmore Cross, Oranmore, Galway

 (47 years) Seattle, Washington, and formerly of Carnmore Cross, Oranmore, Co. Galway, after a valiant battle against oesophageal cancer.  

Deeply mourned and very sadly missed  by his loving wife Gayle D Staker-Neary (Seattle) and by his  parents James and Bonnie Neary, brothers Michael, Jim and Nick, sisters Margaret, Erin, and Patricia, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. 

You are very welcome to join Rob’s family in Ireland to share stories and photographs  of Rob’s life in their family home at Carnmore Cross, Oranmore on this  Friday, 18th January from 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and again on this coming  Saturday,  19th January  from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.   

In respect of and to honour Rob’s wishes his eyes are being donated for the study of and training of doctors who work to eliminate blindness by 2040.   Cremation to take place in the USA.  A Memorial Service to follow in Ireland later this year.  

Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Cancer Care West and or  National Council for the Blind of Ireland (NCBI)
