RÓISÍN HOLDEN

Róisín died peacefully at home on Monday afternoon. She was surrounded by those who love her most dearly, and returned with our sad blessings to a more vast and infinite love than those left behind may not yet quite know.

Róisín’s courage to follow her truth with strength and determination gives deepest inspiration to us all. She was an extraordinary human being on an extraordinary journey. Her spirit is a kind, wise flame whose light travelled far and wide. Warm, generous, capable, talented, strong and stubborn as a mountain, Róisín did things her way with all of our support and love right until the very end. She leaves us all priceless gifts of treasured memories, healing, profound love and grief.

Her broken-hearted family and friends miss her more than any words could ever say. Róisín will echo through all our lives until our last days. We remember her with the deepest gratitude, and sorrow, and endless, endless love.

She is deeply loved and sadly missed by her Mum Jackie, Dad Conor, her brothers Cathal and Michael, her sisters Isabel and Caitlin, her Nana Attracta, and her step mother Claire, all the Gowrans and Holdens and her wide circle of heartbroken friends.

A celebration of Róisín’s life will be held at home in Landsdowne Village, Kenmare at 3pm, Wednesday, 13th of December. V93 N521.

A private cremation will follow on Thursday.
