The peaceful death has occurred of Rose Doherty (née Carr) of Meenacannon, Kilcar and formerly of West Byfleet, England. Sadly missed by her loving husband of 56 years, Seamus Doherty, her sons, James, Stephen, Trevor, her daughter Denise, her sisters Annie, Evelyn, her brothers Cartha, Cathal and Hugh, her daughters in law Moria, Judith and Corinne, her 8 grandchildren, and her 3 great-grandchildren, extended family, friends and neighbours. Predeceased by her brothers Connie, Seán and Frank, her sisters Mary, Theresa, Aine, Patricia, Bernadette, her parents Frank and Ellen Carr of Meenacannon.
Remains reposing at her late residence (Meenacannon) from 1.00pm tomorrow, Sunday, with removal from there Monday at 11.30am going to St Cartha's Church, Kilcar for 12.00pm Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
Family flowers only donations if desired to the Donegal Hospice or IMNDA.
At the request of the deceased the wake is strictly private to family only please.
