(née Martin)

Booterstown, Dublin / Dun Laoghaire, Dublin / Limerick City, Limerick

DONOHUE (née Martin) Rosemarie (Booterstown, Co. Dublin and formerly of Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin and O’Connell Avenue, Limerick) passed peacefully at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family - February 12th, 2025. Daughter of the late Nellie and Joe. Beloved wife and best friend of Denis, adoring mother of Clíona, Kenneth, Declan, Elaine and Ronan, cherished grandmother of Lauran, Oliver, Sullivan, Isoline, Killian, Rafferty, Ava, Charlie and Lana.

 

She is remembered also by Declan’s wife Marlene, Elaine’s partner Kenn and Ronan’s wife Evelyn, all of whom she loved.

 

She will be very sadly missed by her brothers and sister: Brendan, Eamon (predeceased), Niall, Kieran and Carmel, extended family and friends, especially her lifelong friend Rena.

 

She will be forever missed for her kind and supportive ways, and most especially the warm embrace of her unforgettable laughter by all of those who knew and loved her.

 

Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, 6 Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road, Dublin 4, D04 X446, on Monday evening, February 17th, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Funeral Mass on Tuesday morning, February 18th, at 11:30 a.m., at the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown Avenue, A94 TR68, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, D6W HY98.

 

For those unable to attend, the Mass will be streamed at: https://www.churchservices.tv/booterstown and the cremation prayers at: https://www.mountjerome.ie/victorian-chapel-service/ at 1.45pm approximately.
