Seamus Treacy

Knockauncoura, Loughrea, Co. Galway.

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 13th 2021surrounded by his loving family in the loving care of the wonderful staff of Galway Hospice Foundation.

 

(Predeceased by his loving sisters Bridie and Eileen, brother Martin)

To the inexpressible grief and sadness of his loving wife and best Bernadette.

Seamus will be sadly missed by his loving son’s Declan, Tony, Jason and James, sisters Mary, Kathleen and Geraldine, brother Michael, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, extended family and his many friends.

 

Seamus will lie in repose at the Kilboy’s funeral home on Friday 15thof October from 4 pm to 6 pm for family and close friends, following Government guidelines of 50% capacity on indoor gatherings.

 

Please note this will be a walk-through viewing, with family in attendance

We please ask for no shaking of hands and for a face mask to be used at all times.

 

Seamus’s funeral cortége will leave from outside his Home on Saturday, October 16th, at 10.15pm, to arrive at Church of The Holy Family, Clostoken for Requiem Mass at 11am.

Seamus will then be laid to rest in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery Loughrea.

 

The church now has 50% capacity on indoor gatherings, with a face mask to be used at all times. House private for family and close friends please.

 

The above arrangements will take place in accordance with current Government and HSE guidelines on public gatherings.

 

Seamus’ friends wishing to support his family at this sad time may do so and please adhere to Government Guidelines on social distancing if standing along the route of the funeral cortége from Home to The Holy Family Clostoken
