The death has occurred of Sean Hackett (Ex Irish Army, 27th Infantry Battalion, Castleblayney), Brackley, Tullynahinera, Loughmourne, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Saturday December 12th, suddenly, at his residence. Predeceased by his wife Martha and his parents Molly and James. Deeply regretted and remembered with love by his family,  daughters Sandra and Yvonne and son Sean, brothers Gerald and Paddy-Jim (England), Kieran and Brendan (Australia), sister Nola Moore (Armagh), grandchildren Sabrina and husband Brian,  Grace and husband Paul, Justin, James, Rhys and fiancée Darlene, Karl, Josh, daughter-in-law Denise, Sandra's partner Jake, great-grandchildren, sisters-In-law, brothers-In-law,  nieces, nephews, relatives, former Army Comrades and many friends.

Sean will repose at Ward's Funeral Home, Ballybay, tomorrow, Monday, from 4pm until 7pm, amongst family, friends and former Comrades only. Sean's funeral cortège will travel from his home (Brackley) on Tuesday morning at 11:15am, driving to the Commons Car Park, Castleblayney (via Lough Egish Cross), then proceeding on foot, to arrive at St Mary's Church, Castleblayney, for funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Due to the continued restrictions on public gatherings, Sean’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the presence of his family (limited to 25) and house strictly private, please.
