Séan MCQUAID, Harkaway House, Gaybrook, Mullingar, formerly of Emyvale, Co. Monaghan, December 18, 2024 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff at St. Bridget's Ward, Clúain Lir Care Centre; pre-deceased by his parents John and Margaret, brother James, sisters Patricia (Daly) and Verona (Naughton). Sean will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his wife Hilda, daughters Monica, Hilda (Lyon), Elaine (Christie), sons James and John, adored grandchildren Sonny, Lydia, Harvey and Martha, Sean's twin brother Brendan, sister Monica (Gaynor), sons-in-law Paul and Terry, daughters-in-law Noi and Natalie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Shaws Funeral Home, Bishopsgate St., Mullingar on Friday December 20, from 4.00 o'c. concluding with prayers at 6.00 o'c. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11.00 o'c. In the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar, followed by burial in Walshestown Cemetery. Seán's Mass can be seen on the live webcam at www.mullingarparish.ie.
