Seán Walsh of Lucan, Co. Dublin and formerly of Birkenhead, England, passed away peacefully, on Saturday 11th January 2020, in the loving care of his wife and family and the exceptional staff at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Dearly loved husband and soulmate of Evelyn, devoted and loving father of Nicole, Shane, Sarah and Olivia and loving brother of Sheila, Gráinne and Derek; he will be sadly missed by his family, brother-in-law Ronan, sister-in-law Blanaid, nephew Michael, nieces Siún, Aisling and Gráinne and by his extended family and friends, especially Alan Kerrigan, Liam Breen and Anthony Aherne and his football family.

Reposing at his home on Wednesday (Jan. 15) from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (Jan. 16) at 10.00am, in St. Patrick’s Church, Esker, Lucan, followed by burial in Newcastle Cemetery, Co. Dublin. Flowers welcome or donations, if desired, to ARC Cancer Support Services or Our Lady's Hospice Harold's Cross.

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back.
