Shane Fanning

Fanning (Fermoy) peacefully, on November 29th 2017 in his 44th year, in the presence of his loving family at Marymount Hospital, Cork, after a short illness. Shane, 9 Barry’s Court, Fermoy, dearly beloved husband & best friend of Brigid (née O’ Donoghue), loving father of Róisín & Soraya, dearest son of Michael & Mary & loving brother of the late Annette. Sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, parents, brothers Michael, Eamonn & Mark, sister Catherine, uncles & aunts, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, mother-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives & a very large circle of wonderful friends.

Reposing at Martin Neligan & Son's Funeral Home, Fermoy on Friday evening from 6pm to 8pm. Reception into St. Patrick’s Church at 2pm on Saturday for requiem Mass at 2.30pm. Burial afterwards in Kilcrumper New Cemetery, Fermoy.

Family flowers only, donations to Marymount Hospital, if desired.
