The death has occurred of Shiela Erickson (nee O’Reilly), Ryefield, Virginia, County Cavan. Peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Sadly missed by her adoring husband, Billy, son Peter, daughter Mary, brother Frank, sister Marian, son in law Brian, daughter in law Derval and her much loved grandchildren Johnny, Katie, Tadhg, Sean, Oscar and Ped, great grandchild Lily, nephews, and nieces.

Sheila’s family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to her carers, public health nurses and the Occupational Therapy Department of Virginia Primary Care for their exceptional care and attention.

Departing from her residence on Monday, January 11th, at 1.40pm for arrival at St. Bartholomew's Church, Munterconnaught, Virginia, County Cavan for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

In compliance with Current Covid 19 guidelines, the family home will remain private. Shiela’s funeral Mass will be restricted to family members only. People are invited to form a guard of honour along the route of the funeral cortège from her residence to the chapel, as a mark of respect. For those who cannot attend due to restrictions, please feel free to leave a message in the condolences book at the bottom of the page.
