Sheila GALLAGHER
(née Kelly)
Sheila Gallagher (née Kelly) of “Rosford”, Browneshill, Carlow and formerly of Lanesboro, Co. Longford and Castlerea, Co Roscommon, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on April 26th, 2024, at her residence.
Beloved wife of the late Noel (former Garda Superintendent), adored mother of Niamh, Micheál, Ronan, Padraic (Headford, Co Galway) and Fred (Cavan), treasured grandmother to Maria, Anita, Noel, Emer, Damien, Kieran, Aoife, Brín, Gregory, Emma, Monica, Sheelagh, Noel and Luke and loving sister of Fr. Micheál Kelly (Kiltegan), Paddy, Gretta, Fred, Phil, Greg and the late Sean.
She will be deeply mourned also by her family, loving sons-in-law Sean and Damien, daughters-in-law Paula, Mary and Paula, sisters, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at her home, “Rosford”, Browneshill, Carlow, (Eircode R93 R897) from 3pm on Saturday, concluding with Prayers at 8pm that evening. Reposing on Sunday from 3pm with removal from there at 6.30pm to The Church of The Holy Family, Askea, arriving for Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Monday at 11am followed by funeral to St Mary's Cemetery, Carlow, for burial.
