Sheila McCarthy
(née Burke)
McCARTHY (Cork): On October 6th, 2023, peacefully, in the tender loving care of the staff at the Mercy University Hospital in the presence of her loving family. SHEILA (née Burke), Springfort, Montenotte and late of Drinagh, dearly loved wife of Tony and much loved mother of Mary, Anthony, Martin and Robert and loving sister of Denis, Mary, Richard, Martin and the late Dan and Patrick and dear grandmother of the late Lorna-Marie.
Sadly missed by her loving husband and family, brothers, sister, daughters-in-law Vivienne, Elizabeth and Lisa, son-in-law Anthony, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at the Mayfield Funeral Home, Old Youghal Road, of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd: On Sunday (October 8th) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Monday (October 9th) in the Church of Our Lady Crowned, Mayfield which can viewed
Funeral afterwards to Rathcooney Cemetery.
