Returned to God on the 4th February 2024, peacefully at home.

 

Sheila is predeceased by her beloved parents Sheila and Patrick, dearest sisters Hannah and Kathleen, brothers John and Patrick.

Beloved wife of John and dearest loving mother of James, Sheila, Patrick, Kay, Raymond and Martin. Sadly missed by her loving family, her sister Mary, son-in-law John, daughters-in-law Karen and Eilish, grandchildren Áine, Seán, Clare, Mary-Kate and Mark. Hugely missed by her sisters in-law, brothers in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, extended family, neighbours and friends.

May Sheila Rest in Peace.

House private.

 

Reposing at Kirwans Funeral Home, Fairview, Dublin 3 on Tuesday afternoon (6th February) from 4.30pm to 7pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (7th February) to The Church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Fairview, Dublin 3 for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Dardistown Cemetery, Collinstown Cross, Old Airport Rd, Dardistown, Dublin, K67 HP26.

 

Family flowers only.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Francis Hospice who provided exceptional palliative care to Sheila in the comfort of her home, the Irish Cancer Society who provided a night nurse in the final week of Sheila’s life.
