Sheila Ryan
(née O'Donovan)

Ryan (Hollybank, Winter's Hill, Kinsale and late of Skibbereen) on March 25th, 2023, peacefully in the tender care of the staff at Haven Bay Care Centre, Kinsale. Sheila (nee O'Donovan) beloved wife and best friend of Dermot, cherished mother of Paul, Deirdre and Conor, beloved Nana to Katy, Mary Ann and Andrew and wonderful mother-in-law to Tadg, Heather and Eithne.

Sheila will be fondly remembered for her roles as founder of Kinsale Community Playschool, former President of Kinsale Flower Club, member of Kinsale Bridge Club. Former Brown Owl and dedicated fundraiser for Daffodil Day and the Chernobyl Project.

Sheila will be deeply missed by her wide circle of friends, especially the Thursday ladies.

Sheila will be lying in repose at her home 'Hollybank'

(Eircode P17KH95) on Sunday and Monday from 3pm. Everybody welcome. 

Sheila's final journey will take place on Tuesday, leaving her home at 3pm (via The Pier) en route to the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy for Cremation at 4pm which will be livestreamed on https://www.islandcrematorium.ie/services/
