The death has occurred of
Sir Hugh REID
Reid Sir Hugh, 3rd Baronet of Springburn & Kilmaurs, Glasgow, formerly of Lochcarron, Auchterarder, & latterly of Vouni, Cyprus. Hugh passed away, peacefully, on Tuesday 20th of November 2012, after a short illness at the residence of his niece, Margaret Monahan. Beloved brother of Joan Quinn, Caheronaun, Loughrea, Co Galway. He will be sadly missed by his sister Joan, brother-in-law John, much loved by his nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Remains to be repatriated to church yard at Lochcarron, Wester Ross, Scotland, for private family burial on Thursday the 29th of November 2012. Family flowers only. Donations, if so desired, to Galway Hospice.
