Sonny O'Mahony

O'Mahony (Ballingarry and Ballymartle) on July 10th 2021 in the exceptional care of the Staff at Kinsale Community Hospital. Jeremiah (Sonny), (President of Ballymartle GAA) (in his 92nd year), beloved husband of the late Julia and dear father of Ann (McCarthy), John, Margaret (Dwyer) and Pat, and brother of the late Denny, Peggy, Eily and Anna.

Sadly missed by his loving family, sister Mary (Bowen), brother-in-law Dan, sons-in-law John and Donal, daughters-in-law Mary and Imelda, beloved grandchildren Darren, Niamh, John, Jerry, Frances, Denise, Declan, Paula, Sean and Cathy, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

In line with Government and H.S.E. Guidelines, Sonny's funeral will take place privately.

Sonny's funeral cortege will leave his home on Monday at 1.45pm approx. via Cullen and Ballymartle GAA Grounds en route to St. Joseph's Church, Riverstick for a private Requiem Mass at 2.30pm which will be livestreamed on www.corklivestream.com/funerals. Funeral afterwards to Ballymartle Cemetery.
