The death has occurred of
Sophie Hourigan
(née Thornton)
On July 30th, 2024, peacefully in the tender care of the staff of Brídhaven Nursing Home, Mallow and in the presence of her loving husband Con, Sophie (formerly of Dundalk, Co. Louth), beloved mother of Ken and John. Sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, grandchildren Paddy, Maeve, Eoghan and Katie, daughters-in-law Liz and Tina, sister-in-law Julia, brother-in-law Kevin, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Reposing at Grace's Funeral Home, Kanturk (P51 WDX8) on Sunday August 4th from 4 pm followed by removal to Church of St. John the Baptist, Burnfort at 6 pm. Requiem Mass at 12 noon on Monday August 5th. Funeral afterwards to Clonfert Cemetery, Newmarket.
