Sr. Elizabeth Doherty

The death has taken place June 8th 2024 of Sr. Elizabeth Devine, St Joseph’s Convent of Mercy, Newtownkennedy Street, Strabane and formerly of Ballyarton, Claudy, Co. Derry. Beloved daughter of the late Elizabeth and William Devine and much loved sister of Phonsy and the late James, Tommy, Mary, Teresa, Willie and John. Reposing at St Joseph’s Convent of Mercy, Newtownkennedy Street, Strabane on Saturday (June 8th) from 3p.m.to 8p.m. and on Sunday (June 9th) from 2p.m. to 6p.m. with removal at 7p.m.to St Patrick`s Church, Claudy. Requiem Mass on Monday at 4p.m. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing brother, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, extended family circle, the Sisters of Mercy, Strabane and the Sisters of the Northern Province.
