Sr. Elizabeth (Lily) BEIRNE

The death has occurred of Sr. Elizabeth (Lily) Beirne, St. Louis Convent, Rathmines, Dublin/ Stranorlar, Donegal late of Sclessin, Belgium and Juilly, France.

Beirne, Sr. Elizabeth (Lily) died peacefully in the loving care of the staff in Kiltipper Woods Care Centre on Friday 13th September, 2024. Predeceased by her parents Jim and Maud and her sisters Maura and Sr. Eileen SSL. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sisters Sr. Sinead SSL and Peg, her brothers Vincent and Seamus, her sister-in-law Eithne, her brother-in-law George, her niece, nephews, extended family, her St. Louis community and friends.

Reposing at St. Louis Convent, Charleville Road, Rathmines, D06 KN83, on Monday September 16th 2024, from 3.00pm to 5.00pm. Evening Prayer at 4.30pm. Removal to the Church of Mary Immaculate, Refuge of Sinners, Rathmines, for Requiem Mass at 11 am. on Tuesday 17th September, 2024. Burial afterwards in Kilmashogue Cemetery.
