Sr. Mairéad Rabbitte, Presentation Sisters

Formerly of Ballinakill, Co. Galway.

 

Sr. Mairéad slipped away very peacefully at Galway University Hospital in the early hours of Thursday, 8 February, 2024. Beloved daughter of the late William and Margaret Rabbitte and sister of the late Liam, Mary-Paschal and Eileen.

 

Mourned by her Presentation community and congregation, her sisters Áine (England), Fionnuala (USA) and her brother Seán (Letterkenny). Lovingly remembered by their families, her community and friends.

 

Reposing at her Presentation community house, Shantalla, on Sunday, 11 February, from 3 p.m. with Prayers at 5.30 p.m. Removal at 6 p.m. to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Seamus Quirke Road (H91 E781). Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Sr. Mairéad on Monday, 12 February, at 11 a.m. and following Mass she will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery. Mass will be live-streamed : Here
