The death has occurred of Sr. Marie McDevitt (Martin Mary) SSL, late of St. Louis Convent, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully in the tender loving care of the staff of Dealgan House Nursing Home, Dundalk, Co. Louth Sunday 3rd May 2020. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Kathleen, brother Michael and sister Sr. Evelyn (RSM). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brothers Brendan, Russ and Chuck, sister Kitty O’Reilly and her husband Ultan, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, her St. Louis Sisters and her many friends.

Sr. Marie’s Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross (A81 K253) at 10am, restricted to family due to the Coronavirus. Burial afterwards privately in St. Joseph’s Cemetery via St. Louis Convent.
