Greatly loved and esteemed member of the Carmelite Community, Kilmacud, Stillorgan, Co. Dublin for 73 years. Peacefully, in the loving care of her Carmelite Community.
Beloved daughter of the late Elizabeth and William Breen, Garrydoolis, Pallasgreen, Co. Limerick, much loved sister of Mairead Breen, Michael Breen, Ursula O’Reilly and the late Joan Cooke, sister-in-law of the late Kay Breen and Nicholas Cooke, cherished aunt of her many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and very dear cousin of Fr Tom Breen and Noreen Murphy. Very sadly missed by her wider circle of cousins, relatives and friends.
May she rest in peace.
Reposing in her Carmelite Monastery, Upper Kilmacud Road on Friday (13th September) from 2-6pm with Solemn Evening Prayer at 4:30pm. Sr Mary Carmel’s Funeral Mass will take place at 12:00 noon on Saturday (14th September) in the Carmelite Monastery, Kilmacud followed by burial in the Community Cemetery.

The Carmelite Community would like to take this opportunity to thank GP Dr. Marie Dawson of the Kilmacud Medical Centre, the Blackrock Hospice team, and the carers from the InisCare company for the wonderful care they all gave to Sr Mary Carmel during her illness.
