The death has occurred of
Sr. Pius Dooley
Sr. Pius Dooley, 'Shalom', Edgeworthstown, Convent of Mercy, Newtownforbes and late of of Cappataggle, Ballinasloe, Co. Galway. Sr. Pius died peacefully surrounded by her family and Mercy Community in the loving care of the Staff at Our Lady's Manor, Edgeworthtown on 16th February 2024. Predeceased by her parents Annie and Martin, brothers Tony and Frank and sister-in-law Chris.
Sr. Pius will be forever missed and always remembered by her loving family, sister-in-law Mary, nieces Caroline and Mariese, nephews John and Francis, nieces-in-law, nephews-in-law, grandniece, grandnephews, relatives and the Sisters of Mercy Western Province.
May Sr. Pius Rest in Peace.
Reposing in Our Lady's Manor Chapel, Edgeworthstown (Eircode N39 VR04) on Saturday from 5.00pm concluding with prayers at 6.30pm. Funeral Mass in Our Lady's Manor Chapel at 12.30pm on Sunday. Sr. Pius will be laid to rest in Aughafin Cemetery. (Eircode N39 W425).
