The death has occurred of Sr.Pius Canavan, Presentation Convent, Clonmel, Co.Tipperary and formerly Ardskeabeg, Corofin, Co.Galway, 13th October 2024. Peacefully in the tender care of the staff at Sonas Melview Nursing Home, Clonmel. Predeceased by her parents Stephen and Delia, her brothers Dick, Batty and PJ, her sisters Mai, Kathleen, Nora, Chrissie, Emily and Sr.Theresa (Tess), also predeceased by her nephews Gabriel Hynes, Michael Cummins and Fr. Tommie Treacy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law. Sr.Pius will be sadly missed by her Presentation Sisters, her sister Monica, Liverpool, her many nieces and nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in the Presentation Convent, Clonmel (E91 A329) this Tuesday afternoon from 3 o'clock with removal on Wednesday afternoon to St.Mary's Church, Irishtown arriving at 2.50 o'clock for requiem mass at 3 o'clock followed by interment in the Convent cemetery. In lieu of attendance messages of sympathy can be left in the condolence section below.
