Sylvia Abbott
(née Horton)
Abbott, Sylvia (Née Horton), Cedarville, Fortal, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly of Mount Temple, Moate,
Co. Westmeath, passed away peacefully on November 25th, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family.
She will be deeply missed by her husband Richard (Dick), her children John, Gwen, Karen and Hazel, daughter-in-law Sinead, sons-in-law Nigel, Kevin and Darren, her adored grandchildren Diarmuid, Dillon, Christopher, Chloe, Ava, Liam and Emily, her sisters Betty (Whitten) and Myra (Hayes), her sister-in-law Iris, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.
Reposing at her home (R42PK16), on Wednesday evening from 4pm. - 7pm.
Removal on Thursday to arrive at St. Brendan’s Church of Ireland, Birr at 2.30pm. for Funeral Service. Burial afterwards in Clonoghill Cemetery, Birr.
Family flowers only. Donations can be made in memory of Sylvia to the Irish Cancer Society.
House strictly private all day Tuesday and Thursday morning please.
