Theresa McCullough
(née Mooney)
The death has occurred, in her 87th year, of Theresa (Térè) Mc Cullough (née Mooney), Newtown, Monasterboice, peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Hillview Nursing Home, Rathfeigh, Tara, Co. Meath. Térè, beloved wife of the late Peter. Sadly missed by her sister Betty (Farrell), brother Jim, sisters-in-law Bridie (Mooney), Nan (Torris) and Kathleen (Murray), brother-in-law Frank (Farrell) and her dear friend Marie Gogarty, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Rest in Peace
A private family Funeral for Térè will take place, due to Government advice on public gatherings, with numbers limited to 50. Removal from Connor’s Funeral Home, Dunleer, on Friday morning at 10.30am to The Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, Tenure, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, which can be viewed live at https://www.churchservices.tv/monasterboice. Burial afterwards in Monasterboice Cemetery.
There will be an opportunity for the community to support the family and remember Térè, by being present, socially distanced, on the route to the Church and the cemetery, via Redgap. Those who would like to attend but cannot due to Covid-19 restrictions may leave a personal message in the Condolence section below.
