TOM HEHIR

Hehir Tom. Coilmore, Peterswell, Co. Galway. Peacefully after a short illness on the 11th of October 2021, in the tender care of the staff of Rosemount Nursing Home, Gort. Pre-deceased by his father Martin and mother Elizabeth. Sadly missed by his loving sister Mary. Tom will be fondly remembered by his cousins, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

The funeral will take place in accordance with current government guidelines. Tom's funeral cortege will arrive at the church of St. Thomas, Peterswell on Thursday October 14th for Requiem Mass at 11am. Funeral afterwards to Kiltartan Old Cemetery, where Tom will be laid to rest. House strictly private at all times, please. Condolences to Mary and the family can be left on the online condolence page below or sent in the traditional manner.

Please note the funeral cortege will arrive in Peterswell village at 10.40 am and travel to the church. People wishing to line the route may do so and are kindly asked to please adhere to social distancing and refrain from handshaking at all times.

Mary and the extended family deeply appreciate all the kindness and support shown to them at this sad time by their neighbours and friends. Special thanks to all who cared for Tom after his recent illness.
