Tony Burke

Ballinteer, Dublin / Rathfarnham, Dublin

Tony Burke (Joseph Anthony Burke), Ballintyre Square, Ballinteer and formerly Pine Valley Ave., Rathfarnham, 9th June 2023.  Passed Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family and in the loving care of the nurses and staff on the Cara ward of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Predeceased by his grandson Kieran and his sister Margaret. Tony will be greatly missed by his loving wife Carmel, children Karl, Mark, Tara, Tony Jr, Alan and Christina, son-in-law Paul and daughters-in-law Kate, Stella, Clare and Emma, grandchildren Ian, Kevin, David, Hazel, Luke, Darcy, Faye, Scott, Dylan, Jake, Tadhg, Max, Robyn, Sophie, Josh, Caleb and great-grandson Ollie, brother Liam and sister Esther, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, relatives, a wide circle of friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his home in Ballintyre Square,  on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm (Parking across the road in Church Car Park). Funeral Mass on Friday, 16th June, at 11.30am in St. John The Evangelist Church, Ballinteer, which can be viewed on link:

Burial afterwards in Kilmashogue Cemetery.

The Burke Family wish to sincerely thank the nurses and staff on the Cara ward of St. Vincent’s Private Hospital for the wonderful care and attention given to Tony. They looked after him making him feel more like a resident rather than a patient for the past few months.
