The death has occurred of Tony Whelan, Allenagh, Longford, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, Tuesday, 17th January 2023. Predeceased, by his parents Frank and Anne, brother Noel and sister-in-law Kathleen. Deeply regretted by his loving family, brother Ronan, sister-in-law Bridie, nieces Anne Whelan, Caroline Browne (née Whelan) and Sinead Reilly (née Whelan), nephews Francis Whelan and Sean Whelan, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces, great-grandnephew, cousins, relatives and his many good friends and neighbours.
Rest In Peace
Removal arriving in Saint Mel’s Cathedral, Longford, on Thursday evening, 19th January, at 5.30pm. Funeral Mass on Friday 20th at 11am. Burial afterwards in Ballymacormack Cemetery.

The family would like to sincerely thank the palliative care team, public health nurses and The Irish Cancer Society night nurses for their exceptional care and attention towards Tony during his illness.
