The death has occurred of
Very Rev. Canon Michael Riordan P.E
RIORDAN (Cork & late of Toames, Macroom): On May 6th, 2024, peacefully, in the tender care of the staff at the Cork University Hospital & formerly at the Bon Secours Care Village. Very Rev. Canon MICHAEL RIORDAN P.E, retired Parish Priest of Togher Parish, Cork and dear brother of the late Dan Joe.
Dearly mourned by his loving sister-in-law Anne, niece Mairéad, nephew Liam, cousin Michael, his former house-keeper Nora, Bishop Fintan Gavin, Bishop Emeritus John Buckley, fellow clergy, parishioners, relatives and friends.
Canon Michael will lie in rest in the Church of the Way of the Cross, Togher on Wednesday (May 8th) from 6.00pm until Celebration of Vespers at 7.00pm.
Concelebrated Requiem Mass at 12.00noon on Thursday (May 9th) which can be viewed
Interment afterwards in the Church Grounds.
