The death has occurred of
Very Rev Fr Christopher (Christy) O'Byrne
Parish Priest of Lawrencetown and Kiltormer, formerly of Garbally College.
In the loving and dedicated care of the Staff of Merlin Park Hospital, Galway following an illness borne with great dignity and courage. Deeply regretted by his loving brothers, Bernard, James and Joe, sisters-in-law Treasa and Anne, god-daughter Sinead, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, great grand nephews, Bishop Michael Duignan and Bishop Emeritus John Kirby, fellow priests of the Diocese of Clonfert, parishioners of Lawrencetown and Kiltormer, friends at Emmanuel House, Clonfert, fellow Christians and a very large circle of friends.

Reposing in the Community Centre, Lawrencetown on Friday, 27th December at 3.00 pm with removal at 6.00 pm to St. Mary's Church, Lawrencetown H53DC80. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 12.00 noon with burial in adjoining Church grounds.
