The death has occurred of
William (Bill) Murtagh
William (Bill) Murtagh, Kilpatrick, Collinstown, Co. Westmeath, and formerly Drimnagh, Dublin 12, December 31st 2023 peacefully in his 97th year, in the excellent care of the nurses and staff in St Camillus Nursing Centre Killucan.
Predeceased by his parents Christopher and Bridget, brothers Tom, Charlie, Christy and Ted, sisters baby Harriet and Breda Mc Namee.
Deeply regretted by his brothers Peter and John, sister Mary Brady, sisters in law , nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, all his Croke park colleagues, relatives, neighbours and his many friends especially Pat and Bridie.
May Bill Rest in Peace
Reposing in St Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel Killucan Co. Westmeath (eircode N91VF51) on Monday January 1st 2024 from 4pm followed by prayers at 6pm. Removal afterwards arriving in St Mary's Church Collinstown at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday January 2nd at 11am. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.
