William (Bill) O'Brien

William (Bill) O’Brien (Balally, Dublin and formerly of Ardcanaught, Keel, Castlemaine, Co. Kerry and An Garda Síochána) – December 29th, 2024, passed away peacefully at the Blackrock Clinic while surrounded by his family. Beloved husband and best friend of 64 years to Máire (née Hodgins) and much-loved father of John, Dermot and the late Colin, predeceased by his brothers Dan and Mike, and his sister Margaret.

Sadly missed and remembered by all his loving family, sisters Sheila and Eileen, brother John, daughters-in-law Linda, Evelyn and Lilian, grandchildren Seán, Daragh, Aisling, Róisín, Seán, Cormac, Lisa and Andrew, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours, former colleagues, friends and his Naomh Olaf family.

William will repose at JP Ward & Sons, Funeral Home, Sandyford Village (D18 C8P7) on Thursday evening (Jan 2nd) from 4pm to 6pm. Removal on Friday morning (Jan 3rd) to the Church of the Ascension of the Lord, Balally arriving for 10am Mass, followed thereafter to Mount Jerome Crematorium.
