William (Billy) KEANE

William (Billy) KEANE, Hawthorn Crescent, Mullingar (formerly of Tuam, Co. Galway), Corporal (Ret.), former member of the 4th Field Artillery Regiment, long-time member of O.N.E. and proud member of A Company, 35th Battallion, Jadotville Heros - September 22, 2024 (unexpectedly, but peacefully) surrounded by his loving family, at the Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar; pre-deceased by his parents Richard and Nora, siblings Mary, Christy and Tony. Billy will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Mary (Molly), Michaela, Jay, Logan and Brody. Survived by his sisters Bridie, Eileen, Bernie and Patsy, brothers Sonny, PJ, Oliver, Vincent and Tim, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, good friends, neighbours and all his ex-servicemen and companions.

Reposing at Shaws Funeral Home, Bishopsgate St., Mullingar on Thursday September 26, from 4.00 o'c., concluding with prayers at 7.00 o'c.

Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11.00 o'c. at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Mullingar, followed by burial in St. Michael's Cemetery, Castletown-Geoghegan.
