William (Wally) O'Connell

O'CONNELL (Cork) On February 28th 2024 peacefully at the Mercy University Hospital, WILLIAM (WALLY) (late of Suttons Seeds and Highfield Rugby Club), Winters Hill and formerly of Blackrock; dearly beloved husband of Sheila and loving father of Aileen, Mary and Eugene. Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, grandchildren Christopher, William, Ciara, Sina and Julieanna, great-grandchildren Callum, Cillian, Croía, Shala and Alvey, son-in-law Donal, brother-in-law Seán, nephews, nieces, relatives, Grace, Liam and friends.

Visitation at O'Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Saturday, March 2nd, from 4pm - 5pm with Prayers at 4.45pm. Requiem Mass on Monday, March 4th, at 10am in the North Cathedral which will be live-streamed on www.corkcathedral.ie Funeral afterwards to St. Oliver's Cemetery, Model Farm Road.
