William (Willie) Dempsey

William John Dempsey, known as Willie, passed away (peacefully) in his 79th year, following a long illness, on 24 February 2024 in Bristol, England (formerly of Clonmore, Edenderry, Co Offaly). Predeceased by his parents Michael and Kitty, his sister Philomena (Kilwarden), brothers Milo (Castlejordan), Matthew (Clonmore) and Dermot (Sydney, Australia). He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Anne, daughter Margaret and son William, his grandchildren Peter, Madeleine and Holly; his brothers James (Kells), Laurence (Clonmore), and sister Lily (Essex), sister in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, carers and friends.

Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, 11 March, at 11.30am at Augustine of Canterbury RC Church in Downend, Bristol, followed by burial at Kingswood Remembrance Park in Kingswood, Bristol.
