William (Willie) McDermott

The death has occurred of William (Willie) McDermott, Brackloon, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon - 25th March 2024, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at Roscommon University Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Paul & Elizabeth, uncle Stephen and sisters Agnes and Mary. Beloved husband of Annie. Willie will be sadly missed by his devoted wife, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Gaynor’s Funeral Home, Castlerea from 5pm - 7pm on Wednesday evening with removal afterwards to St. Patrick’s Church, Castlerea for Mass of the Resurrection at 7.30pm. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11 am on Thursday followed by burial afterwards in Baslick Cemetery.
