The death has occurred of Winifred (Winnie) Hand, (nee Elstone) of 80 St. Cormacs Park, Kilcormac, who died in the wonderful care of Midlands Regional Hospital, Tullamore, after a long illness bravely borne on 18th July 2024. Predeceased by her treasured husband Joe, infant brothers John and Vincent, and brothers, Brendan and Alfie. Sadly missed by her loving children Christopher, Paul, Darren, Rose and Lisa, and her daughters and sons in law, and her brothers and sisters, Maureen, Oliver, George, Paul and Elizabeth. Her dearest were her grandchildren, Charlene, Katie, Holly, Rachel, Caoimhe, Sorcha, Aoibhin, Joe, Conor, Casey, Aimee, and Oisín. Also a great-grandmother, and lovingly so to great grandchildren, Lily, Alan and Evie.

Reposing at Lawless Funeral Home, Mucklagh Village tomorrow (Friday 19th) from 6 o'clock until 8 o'clock. Removal on Saturday morning arriving at the church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Kilcormac, for 11am Funeral mass followed by burial to Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Kilcormac. House private at all times please.
