Warrenpoint, Down

Michelle, Niamh, Aideen, Emma and the entire family circle, wish to express their profound gratitude to all who supported them in their recent bereavement.

Tributes shared on social media, stories related at Alex’s Wake, made us so proud of the loving Husband, proud Father and fun loving Granda who touched the lives of so many.

His Funeral Mass was truly a celebration of a life well lived. We thank Canon Kearney and Fr. Brendan Carr for their presence with us at Alex’s Mass. Special thanks to Fr. Noel Kehoe, family friend, who celebrated such a moving liturgy and encapsulated the true essence of Alex’s character and life in his homily.

To all who participated in the Mass, we thank you for making it such a meaningful service. Special mention to Fiona Flynn and her accompanying musicians, your beautiful music truly enhanced our celebration, thank you.

To The Church Restaurant, Rostrevor, we thank you for the lovely meal and refreshments provided to family and friends following the Funeral Mass.

To the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of both Haematology Unit Craigavon and Daisyhill Hospital, we thank you for the professional and personal care shown to Alex and the support given to us as a family.

We are extremely grateful to family and friends who donated to Myeloma UK in lieu of flowers. Your generosity raised £750.00 and we take comfort in being able to support ongoing research into Myeloma.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to McAnulty Funeral Directors for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the Wake, Funeral and Cremation. Your constant support was greatly appreciated.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest gratitude.

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
